Jamie Mason
Chief Executive Officer
Jamie, a seasoned entrepreneur with an insatiable drive for growth and development, helms the Masonopoly team as our Chief Executive Officer. He oversees every aspect of the company's operating and portfolio ventures, showcasing remarkable entrepreneurial spirit and a knack for expanding and nurturing multi-market/unit retail enterprises. Jamie's journey began as a college student when he established a vehicle brokerage business to support his education. Upon earning his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Master’s degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University, he embarked on a seven-year stint as a project manager, building shopping malls and hospitals in Las Vegas, Nevada. Unleashing his entrepreneurial spirit once again, Jamie built and managed a 13-location tanning salon chain, successfully exiting the business in 2006. Simultaneously, he immersed himself in the real estate market, flipping residential properties and constructing and selling a sports bar in the thriving Las Vegas and Southern Utah areas. In 2008, Jamie and his wife, Margaret, relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee, where he established his first Sun Tan City location. Under his leadership, the brand flourished, expanding to over 30 outlets across the Southeastern United States. By implementing innovative grassroots marketing strategies and empowering strong operational sales teams, Jamie consistently outperformed franchise-wide gross revenue averages, maximizing returns and earning numerous accolades from his franchisors. In 2015, Jamie ventured into the fitness industry, opening his first Planet Fitness. His passion for expansion led him to control, invest in, or operate 24 locations, of which 12 have since been successfully exited. Jamie then embarked on a mission to become one of the largest franchisees of Buff City Soap. Together with the Masonopoly team, he spearheaded the establishment of 41 locations in less than two years, spanning five states. Beyond his success in operating businesses, Jamie has also transformed shopping centers, constructed hundreds of residential homes and apartment complexes, and even built a self-storage facility. His portfolio extends to investments in a wide range of industries such as automotive marketing, bourbon, and tourism. Jamie maintains a physically active lifestyle, enjoying swimming, cycling, and traveling to support his children's pursuit of Division 1 collegiate swimming. His unwavering commitment to excellence, coupled with his entrepreneurial spirit and diverse business acumen, positions him as a driving force in the world of retail and beyond.
Joe Crouthers
Chief Investment Officer
Joe recently joined the Masonopoly team and oversees all investment and family office related activities. He is an institutional investor, entrepreneur, and former portfolio manager and advisor. Prior to joining the Masonopoly team, he was a co-founder and CEO of Ceres Group Holdings, a cannabis industry focused growth equity fund. Joe has served as a director of several private companies and as Chairman and CEO of a publicly traded company, Ceres Acquisition Corp. Prior to founding Ceres Joe started a cannabis distribution and transportation company in Northern California. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, Joe worked at Goldman Sachs for 12 years as a portfolio manager and advisor and as a commodities and merger arbitrage trader. He has completed Levels I and II of the Chartered Financial Analyst Program. Along with his better half, Sabrina, and their 2 daughters, Penelope, and Violet, he is excited to [once again] call Tennessee home.
Michelle Stokes
Michelle has been with the Masonopoly team for over 8 years and leads our dynamic accounting team of financial analysts, accounts payable/receivable specialists, and payroll/HR processors. Michelle supervises cash flows and reconciliations, ensuring the financial integrity of our organization. Additionally, she showcases her versatility across various facets of the business by serving as a communication liaison, working closely with Jamie to manage all communication. She ensures seamless flow inside and outside of Masonopoly by collaborating closely with legal experts, brokers, and investors. Prior to Masonopoly, Michelle worked for The Rush Fitness Complex, ABS National Auto Services and SunTrust Bank. Michelle has a degree in Accounting from South College. Outside of her professional endeavors, Michelle and her husband both take pride in their role as parents to two grown boys and their growing families. Her family also shares a deep passion for football, with her husband coaching their sons since their early years. Engaging in year-round football activities has not only been a central part of their lives but has also fostered teamwork, discipline, and a strong sense of community.

Jessica Pace
Chief Operations Officer
Jessica has been an indispensable part of the Masonopoly team for over 15 years. She plans, directs, coordinates, and oversees all operational activities across our portfolio of brands. She is responsible for ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization. Jessica began her career with Masonopoly while still in college and her swift rise through the ranks serves as an inspiration to the entire organization. She moved her way through the ranks from Tanning Consultant in 2007 to Assistant Salon Director to Salon Director to District Manager to Director of Operations and finally to Chief Operating Officer in 2020. Jessica has a BA in science from Middle Tennessee State University. She and her husband, Joey, have two children, daughter Piper, and son Porter. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, Pippa and Saylor.
Brittany Vick
Chief Marketing Officer
Brittany has been an integral part of the Masonopoly team for over 12 years. She is responsible for leading our 6-person marketing team and driving the Masonopoly culture of connecting data and creativity for business results. She is focused on increasing the business’ customer base, increasing revenue and profits, driving engagement and retention, as well as leading creative, brand, and communication strategies for all our operating companies. Prior to joining our team, Brittany held leadership positions at Journal Broadcasting Group with notable brand engagements including Cracker Barrel, Food City, Ruby Tuesday, Miller Coors, and Tennessee Lottery. Brittany has a BBA in business with a focus on marketing and economics from Middle Tennessee State University. She draws inspiration and support from her family and two active goldendoodles, fueling her energy and creativity in crafting impactful marketing strategies.
Tara Reitz
Financial Analyst and Accounting Coordinator
Tara has been with our team for over 2 years. She plans, directs, coordinates, and oversees our accounting department. She is responsible for supervising account analyses and reconciliations, devising internal reports useful to the accounting and other departments, issuing internal statements and reports on a timely basis, and meeting all external reporting requirements and deadlines. Prior to joining our team Tara was a Construction Accountant for S & E Properties and an Accounting Associate for Duane Cline, CPA. She has a BS in Business from Carson-Newman University. Tara is an avid runner and met her husband, Ian, 2 miles into a (muggy) 15k race in 2018. They were introduced by a mutual friend who said “single friend Ian, meet single friend Tara” as he ran by. Soon after, at another race in the freezing rain, he proposed at the finish line.
Vince Sartori
Chief Construction & Maintenance Officer
Vince has been with the Masonopoly team for over 12 years and oversees all construction and maintenance for our operating companies. He is responsible for all aspects of our construction and maintenance operations including vendor relations for our portfolio of brands. He has a BA and MBA in business from the University of Windsor and a Master of Science in Construction Management from Arizona State University. He spent 16 years in the construction industry as a senior project manager before arriving to Knoxville in 2011 and joining the Masonopoly brands family. Vince has run the Boston Marathon three times and is an avid road biker, so you can usually find him on the roads of Eastern, TN running or riding his bike in his spare time.
